This policy explains how HayaCV (cv.hayaqr.com), operated by HAYAQR, handles information. In short: your CV stays on your device.
1. Your CV and cover letters
The CV builder, cover letter builder and ATS checker run entirely in your web browser. The text, photo and other details you enter are saved in your browser’s local storage on your own device. They are not uploaded to our servers, and we cannot see, read or recover them. PDF and Word files are created on your device.
To create PDF and Word files your browser downloads fonts and open-source code libraries from public content delivery networks (jsDelivr and Google Fonts). These requests contain technical information such as your IP address, as with any website, but not your CV content.
2. Information we collect
- Contact form: if you send us a message, we receive your name, email address and message so we can reply. We keep it only as long as needed to handle your request.
- Analytics: with your consent where required, we use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use the site (pages visited, device type, approximate location). This data is aggregated and does not identify you personally.
- Server logs: our hosting provider records standard technical logs (IP address, browser, pages requested) for security and reliability.
3. Cookies and advertising
We use essential storage to remember your settings (such as light or dark mode and your cookie choice). With your consent, Google Analytics and Google AdSense may use cookies. Google and its partners may use cookies to show ads based on your visits to this and other websites. You can opt out of personalised advertising at Google Ads Settings. 4. Translation
If you choose another language, the site uses Google Translate to translate the interface. Your CV preview and form fields are marked so that their content is not sent for translation.
5. Your rights and choices
- Delete any saved CV from the builder, or clear your browser’s site data to remove everything.
- Change your cookie choice by clearing site data and choosing again.
- Ask us about or request deletion of any message you sent us.
- Residents of the EU, UK and other regions may have additional rights under local law, including access, correction and deletion.
6. Children
HayaCV is intended for job seekers aged 16 and over. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
7. Changes
We may update this policy and will change the date above when we do.
