How to create your CV with HayaCV

  1. Start with your details. Add your name, the job title you want and how employers can reach you. A photo is optional.
  2. Write a short profile. Two to four sentences about your experience, key skills and one achievement. Click Ready-made summaries for examples.
  3. Add work experience and education. For each job, list 3–6 results with numbers. Use Ready-made bullet points for your profession and edit them to match the truth.
  4. Add skills and languages. Choose skills that appear in the job adverts you apply to.
  5. Pick a design. In the Design tab choose a template, colour, font and spacing. Your text stays the same when you switch.
  6. Check your ATS score. The ATS check tab gives a score out of 100 and simple tips. Paste a job advert to see missing keywords.
  7. Download. Get your CV as PDF, Word or plain text, and create a matching cover letter.
Tip: Keep one main CV and duplicate it for each type of job. Small changes to the profile and skills for each application can double your interview rate.

Frequently asked questions

Where is my CV saved?

In your own browser on this device (local storage). Nothing is sent to our servers. Use Download → Backup file to keep a copy or move it to another device.

Why is the PDF text selectable?

HayaCV creates a real vector PDF, not a picture. Recruiters can copy your details and applicant tracking systems can read every word.

Can I have different CVs for different jobs?

Yes. Click the document name at the top left to create, duplicate, rename or delete CVs. Each one is saved separately.

How do I make my CV fit on one page?

In the Design tab reduce the text size, line spacing or page margins, or try the Compact template. Remove older or less relevant details first.

My language uses right-to-left script. Will it work?

Yes. Set Text direction to right-to-left in the Design tab. For Urdu and Arabic, download with Print / Save as PDF so every letter joins correctly.
